Electroplating

Since 2015, our company has been one of the largest providers of galvanizing services in the Ukrainian market.

We offer galvanic zinc coating services for metal parts and structures of various sizes and shapes.

Galvanic coating is one of the most common methods used to protect ferrous metal products from corrosive damage and to provide a decorative and commercial appearance. The electrochemical process of applying zinc coating significantly enhances wear resistance, electrical conductivity, storage life, and other important properties of metal products.

We accept galvanizing orders from all over Ukraine. Our office and production facilities are located in Kharkiv.

We offer the most competitive prices directly from the manufacturer.

Advantages

01
Availability of large-sized galvanizing baths of various shapes
02
Using raw materials from the best European manufacturers
03
High speed and reliability of order fulfillment
04
Aesthetic appearance of the product with high corrosion resistance

Dimensions of allowed products

Any small metal products (such as bolts, nuts, washers, studs, and small stamped parts) with sizes ranging from 6 mm to 250 mm made of steel, cast iron, copper, and alloys are accepted. Galvanizing is performed on a drum line with a capacity of up to 1.6 tons per day.

For larger products, from 250 mm to 3000 mm, coating is done in a suspended state on hangers. The productivity of the suspension lines is 770 square meters per day. The coating colors (zinc plating, passivation) on the lines include rainbow (yellow), white (colorless, blue).

Examples of Work

Galvanic metal treatment is designed to provide maximum protection against corrosion. Galvanic coating shields metal from the destructive effects of alkalis, corrosive acids, atmospheric precipitation, and sharp temperature fluctuations. An important advantage of zinc is that even the thinnest layer can protect metal from corrosion. However, the thickness and uniformity of the coating are crucial for effective surface protection. Galvanic coating can achieve a thickness ranging from 5 to 40 micrometers.

Products treated in this way gain special durability, improved wear resistance, and an extended service life.

Our company guarantees high quality of the final product.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a galvanic bath?

In simplified terms, a galvanic bath is a rectangular tank approximately 1 meter deep, up to 80 cm wide, and with a length determined by the dimensions of the suspension equipment.

Anodes are positioned along the longer sides, while the part being galvanized acts as the cathode. The items being processed are not placed at the bottom but are suspended on cathodic rods. The smaller the distance between the part and the anode, the less evenly the current is distributed. This phenomenon causes differences in the physical properties and thickness of the coating on different areas of the processed item. Therefore, the distance between the cathodic and anodic rods should be between 15 and 30 cm and depends on the shape and size of the part.

What determines the coverage speed?

The coating process can be broken down into several stages, with time allocated for preparatory, main, and finishing operations.

Preparatory Operations:
– Loading and unloading tasks
– Document handling, phone calls, correspondence, discussions, and meetings
– Mechanical preparation of parts
– Mounting parts on hangers and equipment
– Preparatory treatments (degreasing, pickling) with rinsing

Main Operations:
– Actual coating
– Final processing (passivation, soaking, oiling, burnishing)
– Rinsing

Finishing Operations:
– Quality control
– Packaging
– Handling shipping documents
– Transportation

How much protection does galvanic coating provide?

The galvanic treatment we perform provides:

– Resistance to rust
– Extended service life of metal products
– Improved appearance of parts
